I am a contractor an I got this pipin prblem. I was talkin to my frend and he tol me that theirs a new kinda ?

pipin for the water lines. He said all that old gold color pipin is now called gator pipe. So I got this remodelin job and we rip out all the old pipin. I went to the Home Depot and bought a hole lot of this gold color pipin that he said was gator pipin. Thing is it look just like regler pipin. I push the pipin together an I can pull it part. But he said you aint gotta use any that solderin. He said once you got the preshure the pipin lock up. You jus push the pipin together and it'll hole to the rooster die. So I put in the hole house a pipin. He sayd jussa make sure you can put a little dab of pvc glue in each join. I did that and then we did all the drywall in the place. When it was done I turnt on the water and bam! Theirs some much water shootin out every wall I aint know whatta do. This gator pipin work? How I gotta fix this or should I just walk away from the job an tell the guy it didn't pan out.
