Parents, how does your teen's behavior compare to his/her behavior as a pre-schooler?

My mom said i was weird as a kid, meaning different, and she said that she knew i'd be special when i got older. Apparently, when i was a kid i wouldn't tell my parents if i was hurt even when it was real bad and i used to run away a lot and they called the police once because i went missing but they found me. I don't talk to my mom anymore and i'm not allowed to see my dad either. But it really annoys my twin brother and my older brothers because i still keep secrets and whenever i'm angry or something bads happened i run away, but i come back every time. It's just nice to get away from everything sometimes. The longest i've been gone for is 2 weeks. So, i guess i'm the same as i've always been.
