Can anyone explain how some folks don't know what LOVE even means? (C'mon Men, I am talking about you!)?

Do you think a guy can have love for you but not know it is love? People say some guys just aren't in touch with their feelings, have been raised not to say those three words. It is hard for some of us to wrap our heads around--it bubbles out of me when I feel it for someone, and I have actually had to learn to keep it down! But if a guy spends years being used to NOT saying it, will it eventually kill the ability to feel it? maybe this is a question for the psychiatrists, but I figure there are some women out there who have men like this, or there are men out there with the same conditions that could shed a little light! My guy thinks we have the power to last but doesnt know if he loves me because he says doesnt know what LOVE is. . . ! Its been over a year and I don't know if I should be patient, or say See Ya. I love him and we get along wonderfully. But I want to know I am loved!
